How do we work ?
To accomplish its mission, Glass for Europe is equipped with several decision-making bodies, committees and working groups whose work is supported by a secretariat based in Brussels.

Decision-making bodies
Like any other association, the overruling body of Glass for Europe is the General Assembly. It meets once a year and is composed of all members.
The Board of Directors is composed of Senior managers from the Glass for Europe member companies. The Board manages the association and defines its general policy. It provides direction to the activities of the thematic committees and working groups who provide the finest industry expertise in all Glass for Europe activities.
The Chairman of the Board of Glass for Europe is elected every two years to represent the association at the highest level. The current Chairman of the Board is Mr Jean-François Heris, President and CEO of AGC Glass Europe.
The Secretariat
The work of the association is supported and coordinated on a daily basis by the Glass for Europe secretariat which also acts as an interface between the industry and Europe's stakeholders and policy-makers.
Basic working rules
Glass for Europe carries out all its activities in full compliance with the competition rules and provides members with appropriate guidance on their application to the activities of the association. All member companies and associate companies of Glass for Europe commit that they and their employees - involved in the association's activities - fully abide by the competition rules and adhere to the associations' competition compliance guidance.
