Worldwide Technical Harmonisation

The increasingly interconnected global economy requires a shared set of standards and specifications. The system of Global Technical Regulations (GTRs) under the auspices of the UN aims to address  this need.

Currently, automotive parts suppliers are working on a draft GTR on automotive safety glazing, for submission to the official adption procedure under the UN. Glass for Europe is playing and active role in thisi process.
