Other Glass Applications

Glass is used not only for building, automotive, and other transport applications, but, in somewhat lower volumes, for a very wide range of other applications, from highly specialised uses in engineering, manufacturing, science, medical, nuclear and other areas; to photovoltaics; to “street furniture” (like bus-stop shelters and advertising panels); all the way to more familiar applications, for example in the home in domestic appliances and furniture.
